Bea Franco to represent FYBA in the Miss NABA pageant

FYBA is proud to announce Ms. Isabella Beatrice Mijares Franco as Washington DC area’s Miss NABA representative. Bea, as her friends call her, is a 16-year old incoming Junior at Lake Braddock High School. She is an honor student and an active member of the Lake Braddock Chorus and Musical Theatre groups. Her favorite subject is Algebra. Not just beauty and brains, Bea is an athlete as well. She was part of the all-girl basketball team in her freshman year with an undefeated season as Patriot District champions. Her parents Gelo and Carol Franco have 4 children. Bea is the big “Ate” to Bianca, Carlos and Sophia. Her family has been a proud member of FYBA since 2007. Bea enjoys listening to John Mayer, Ron Pope and Ed Sheeran. Her favorite books are the Harry Potter series and Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. In her free time she plays the guitar, bakes, does make-up for photo shoots and makes YouTube videos. She plans to attend medical school and become a pediatrician someday, but she is also very much interested in film and business.
