The one day FYBA Hoop Challenge was a hit, with 16 teams participating, from all over the DC metro area. Every single FYBA Select team who participated made their way to the Finals in all the divisions, 12u, 14u, and 16u. The Junior Peewee captured the championship title for the 12u division, see www.fybaonline.com/juniorpeewee, winning in a spectacular fashion, scoring 5 points in 17 seconds in regulation period, and finally overcoming its opponent, Team SWARM in overtime.
The other FYBA Select team Peewee, who played in a different pool than the Junior Peewee qualified for the Finals but had to forfeit because of prior commitments of its players. The 14u FYBA Select team fell to the Wakefield in the Finals and the 16u FYBA Select team lost to the AHoops Elite during the last game of the day.
