New Era, New Attitude

To Usher in a New Era, FYBA continues to share with the community.

We know we can make the greatest impact on our communities by promoting programs that are important to the Filipino community in the DC metro area. We’re proud of the programs we offer and we believe that every Fil-Am youth deserves the opportunity to participate in activities that promote youth leadership, skills development, teamwork, and family involvement. For the past 5 years, FYBA has been providing our Fil-Am youth the venue to participate in these physical and health fitness programs through our annual fall and spring basketball leagues, volleyball leagues, NABA national tournaments in Detroit, Toronto and New Jersey. We also had so much fun during our picnics, fundraisers, annual parties, and weekly lunch treats, and we have provided our youth with good memories, and lifelong friends.

To commemorate this achievement, FYBA is giving away new commemorative jerseys to our youth for the upcoming Spring 2012 season. This is also a token of our appreciation to the continued support of our community for the past five years.

The reversible jersey will consist of a top and bottom made with high quality material. (see photo).  To receive this commemorative jersey, players have to register online or atthe desk. Registration will be open on February 1st, and registration fee of $75 is still the same as last year. Please specify the size jersey that you/your child will wear. If you are not registered by the 15th of February, you would need to purchase the commemorative jersey separately for $32, in addition to your registration fee.

Registration: February 1 to 29

Opening: March 18, 2012
